Job description
Operating large farm equipment and machinery equipped with GPS for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops; transporting grain and oilseed crops from field to storage facilities; install and maintain irrigation, polypipe and flood; walking fields pulling weeds; harvesting, processing, drying, bagging and transporting rice; driving pickup to obtain parts and supplies; daily repairs and maintenance to equipment, machinery, buildings, irrigation, and fences; maintenance of worksite and equipment; and cleaning location and equipment. Workers may receive salary increases and merit-based bonuses based upon merit, skill, and/or experience at the sole discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
