Job description
Prepare fields, plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain and row crops, including corn, soybeans, cotton, rice and wheat by hand or machine. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery and self-propelled machinery. Cleanup and maintenance to worksites and farm equipment.
Special Requirements
Workers are expected to possess the skills to work in the production of crops or agricultural commodities listed in this job order. The introductory period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of the job and to familiarize workers with job specifications and to demonstrate proper methods and crop or commodity specific issues. Continuously walk, bend, reach, stoop, pull and lift, carry and load up to 50 lbs., climb 6' - 50' ladders and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must be 18 years or older.
