Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant, cultivate grain, field maintenance and rock removal. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (checking fluids) and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Farm building maintenance.

Crops: Corn, Rye, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower

Equipment: John Deere 680 combine, 9650sts John Deere combine, 2 John Deere 8970 tractors, John Deere 4960 Tractor, 2410 John Deere chisel plow, 52ft summers roller, John Deere 4940 sprayer, JD 8345RT tractor.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
