Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Perform duties on a farm for a farmer like: Crop baling. Drive and operate farm machinery.
Harvest crops. Lubricate and maintain equipment. Operate a baler. Store crops. Tow
harvesting equipment. Transport crops to elevator/storage area. Use GPS auto-steer systems.
Use swather. Haul hay on hay trailer. Load hay bales onto truck/trailer. Use forklift and
skid-steer loader. Clean and maintain grounds/facilities. Incidental maintenance. Changing oil
as needed. Equipment disassembly & reassembly. Thorough repairs. Wash and clean
equipment and put away for season.

Equipment: Baler Operator, Cutter Operator, Equipment Operator, Farm Equipment Operator,
Hay Baler, Loader Operator, Packing Tractor Machine Operator, Rake Operator, Sprayer,
Windrower Operator

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire.
Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
Extensive sitting is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with
verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in
addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
