Job description
Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; cultivate grain. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Change water in sprinklers and fix pipeline leaks. Must be able to drive to town for parts if owner cannot. Keep shop and equipment clean. Exposure to extreme temps, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs frequently. Workers may incure background checks and drug screens post hire at the employers expense; drug screen will be upon incident or accident, failure or refusal of drug screen is grounds for immediate termination. Transportation provided to jobsite from central location. Must possess a basic operators drivers license. Workers must have 3 months verifiable experience operating 500 HP tractors or larger.

Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
