Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate high tech GPS farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Must have row crop experience. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Lubricate and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Equipment: Tractor, combine, trucks, pivot/drip irrigation equipment
Crops: Cotton, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Must have prior welding experience. Must have mechanical, electrical, pivot and drip irrigation knowledge. Must have electrical experience with pumps. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
