Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Crop/s: Corn, Soy Beans
Equipment: The equipment that will be used on the farm are the following: tractor, grain cart, hay baler, row crop tilling equipment (pulled behind a tractor), mowers (riding and pull type) and grain leg and unloading conveyors.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
