Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties such as: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.

Crops: Canola, Soybeans, Wheat

Equipment: Seeder, 4x4 tractors, front wheel assist tractor, payloader, rock picker, semi-truck with grain trailers, lawn mower, harrow, disk.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Must have experience driving a semi. CDL is not required but is a plus. Must be self-motivated. Must have mechanical experience. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
