Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related to the production of alfalfa, barley, corn, potatoes, sugar beets, onions and wheat. The majority of the work activities during the overall contract period, however, will be related to agricultural equipment operation.
Duties will include the following responsibilities: maintain, drive, attach and operate farm implements/tractors/equipment to plant crops; make minor mechanical adjustments/repairs on farm machinery; drive, load/unload trucks; remove rocks from field and rows in front of planting equipment; alert equipment operator of equipment clogging/malfunctions; aid operator in correct machine performance.
Special Requirements
Applicants must have 20 days experience with farm work and driving 10-wheel truck and provide the contact information of at least one reference who can verify experience and performance. Applicants hired must be able to obtain a valid drivers license as driving on public roads will be required.
