Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Perform duties like: Driving tractor, discing, field cultivation, planting, spraying, harvesting, hauling grain and silage, fertilizing, operating pivots, windrowing, baling, stacking bales, fixing fence (both repairing and new.) Grain cart operating, weed management -spraying thistles. Skid loader operation. General seasonal farm duties.

Equipment: tractors , planter, disk, field cultivator, self propelled sprayer, combine, self propelled silage chopper, tractor with loader, feeder wagon, ATV, UTV, pickups, skid loader, baler, windrower

Crops: Alfalfa, Corn, Hay, Milo, Oats, Silage, Soy Beans

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
