Job description

Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery, like 4-wheel drive tractors, combines, and equipment including no-till and auto-steer, to plant, ammonia anhydrous fertilizing, cultivate, harvest and store crops. Operate grain augers to load and unload grain and grain carts. Haul water with tandem truck for spraying crops; operate front wheel assist to run a rock picker. General lubrication, service (Check fluids), and incidental repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Attach or replace farm implements, such as plows, discs, hoses, and drills to tractor.

Crops: Barley, Corn, Lentils, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Sunflower

Equipment: Tractor, Combine, Grain Trucks

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employers' expense due to the liability of driving trucks on public roads. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
