Job description

Performs duties like: vaccinate and treat for seasonal sicknesses, keep bedding and pens dry during the rainy season, scrape manure, transport seasonally grown grain and hay crops to storage facilities to be used as livestock feed, operate feed truck, build and repair fencing, general farm maintenance duties such as servicing and repairing equipment, basic facility upkeep and shop work.

Crops: Oats for hay, alfalfa, corn for silage

Special Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Overtime and taking holiday is mandatory. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
