In connection with the job duties “digging trenches” please note that irrigation trenches are needed when
irrigation is needed in the landscaping. A trench is about 3 inches wide and 7 inches deep. The trench is
done with a simple trencher machine and then cleaned out with a 2 inch shovel. The trencher machine
actually does 90% of the work itself. The employee is required to guide the trencher where to go.

Duties: to assist in lawn maintenance which includes mowing, watering, trimming, raking, and blowing of leaves and debris. To assist with the landscaping which includes digging holes for planting materials, digging trenches and mulching. Crew will travel together to worksites.
