Job description

Position offered is for an experienced rock splitter and quarry worker with a minimum of three months experience in rock splitting and quarry work who is able to work with and model company rock splitting and quarry work methods and procedures with up to 3 peers, who will also separate blocks of rough dimension stone from quarry mass using jackhammer and wedges; also cutting, sorting, stacking and splitting quarry stone by size and shape with a hammer and chisel; cleaning stone chips and pieces, and raking pieces into piles with handheld rake. Loading and unloading rock and materials with a lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds.
