Job description

Mobley Plant Company: Workers will harvest, pick, count, load and unload Broccoli, Cantaloupe and Watermelon. Workers will also weed fields, lay plastic, remove plastic and lay pipes.

Chill-C Farms LLC: Workers will harvest, count, load and unload cabbage, cucumbers, bell peppers, hot peppers, squash, and eggplant. Workers will also lay pipes, weed the fields, lay and remove plastic. Workers will also work at our packing shed that is located on the field site where the workers harvest the crops.

Mobley Gin Company: Workers will drive module trucks to transport cotton from fields to our cotton gin during the 2023 season. Workers will clean yard of cotton debris and assist in all aspects of cotton ginning process. Drivers will transport cotton from fields to gin yard.

THEY WILL ALSO BE PULLING WEEDS, RAKING, CLEANING AREAS AROUND THE FARMS AND BUILDINGS. OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE FIELD MAINTENANCE, CAMP SANITATION, LOADING AND UNLOADING. THIS WILL ALL BE DONE UNDER EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. HEAVY LIFTING, BENDING AND STOOPING WILL BE INVOLVED ON A DAILY BASIS.

2 DAY TRAINING WITH EMPLOYER. The training period for all crop activities is 2 days starting with the first day of employment to acclimate the worker to the physical demands of farm work and to familiarize workers with the job specifications and to demonstrate proper harvest methods and other crop specific issues.
