Job description
The person occupying the position of Housekeeper/Room Inspector spends approximately 80% of time cleaning and dusting hotel rooms according to job procedures, emptying wastebaskets, completing assignments and maintaining rooms and hallways in clean and orderly manner, restocking closets and carts, assisting guests with questions, requests, problems or comments as needed, and other related duties. Approximately 20% of time is spent inspecting rooms for cleanliness and releasing rooms for rent. The individual filling the position must have at least 12 months of experience in this position. Job will require regular bending, stooping and stretching. Maximum weight lifted on a regular basis is 8-25 pounds and 25-50 pounds on an occasional basis. Any overtime would be unplanned and minimal. Basic work schedule of 40 hrs/week (5 rotating days).
If needed, employer intends to assist foreign and non-local U.S. workers hired pursuant to this job order to secure worker-paid lodging not to exceed reasonable fair market value cost based on number of occupants.
Special Requirements
Job requires bending, stooping and stretching. Must possess ability to lift 8 - 25 lbs on a regular basis and 25 - 50 lbs on an occasional basis. Must be willing to work weekends.
