Job description
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking. Must exercise independent judgment; may be asked to demonstrate tasks to other employees but position does not include supervision of other workers.
Special Requirements
Requires three months of previous landscape experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Standard workweek is Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM -4:30 PM; Friday 6:30 AM- 11:00 AM. Additional Friday hours and Saturday work required, when necessary. Post-hire post-accident drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers. Post-hire employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Obtaining driver's license not required. However to receive reimbursement of driver's license expenses and potential hourly bonus pay, those workers will be expected to periodically drive company vehicles as needed. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
