Specific job duties/functions – Perform concrete chipping inside mixer drums of
cement trucks. Clean the build-up of concrete using a pneumatic chipping
jackhammer. Remove hardened concrete from ready mix truck drums using 30 lb.
pneumatic chipping hammers. Connected to a portable air compressor. Break
concrete into small pieces and then remove from concrete drum by reversing the
drum, and discharge into waste pile.
Methods, tools, and equipment to be utilized to complete tasks – Pneumatic drill,
wrench, sledgehammer, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), full face mask, hardhat,
steel toed boots, and gloves.

Perform concrete chipping inside mixer drums of cement trucks. Clean the build-up of concrete using a pneumatic chipping jackhammer. Other tools used in the application of duties include: pneumatic drill, wrench, and sledgehammer.

Shift schedule: 6-7 days per week, varies as scheduled. Monday - Friday from 06:00pm to 04:00am; Saturday and Sunday from 06:00pm to 04:00am. (Regarding the daily work hours, please note that the 6 PM to 4 AM is a time range, during which the workers are allowed to have some individual flexibility and to work at his/her own pace. The workers are allowed to take breaks as needed. Since this position is labor intensive in nature and the workers are required to perform work under high temperature, they will need to work in relatively short intervals to take frequent breaks in compliance with OSHA regulations.)

Special Requirements

- 6 months of concrete and cement chipping experience;
- Must possess knowledge and experience in the techniques used to clean the buildup on concrete from a mixer drum, as well as the knowledge in the use of tools required to perform the job duties, such as pneumatic chipping jackhammers, wrenches, and sledgehammers.
