Farm Worker/laborer

Job description

Employees will be responsible for harvest of forage small grain, and row crops. The custom harvesting equipment to be used will include swathers, rakes, balers, automatic bale stackers, hay squeeze, tractors, and trucks. Employees will be expected to maintain, lubricate, fuel, adjust, and lubricate equipment as needed.

(1) Hammers, saws, wrenches, rachets, etc.
(2) Drills, impact guns, chain saws, circular saws, reciprocating saws, etc.

Employees will also be required to irrigate field crops to include forages, small grains, and row crops with flood, side roll, and mechanical pivot irrigation systems. Employees will also provide installation and repair of farming irrigation systems to include mainline, side roll, flood systems and mechanical irrigation systems. The tools to perform these tasks will include hand tools (1), small power tools (2) (corded and cordless), as well as excavation, lifting, and material moving equipment.

Special Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs/75yds. One (1) month of related work experience required. Must be able to speak, read, and write in English, perform basic math.
