Job description
Work off the ground in the tree canopy and may use truck-mounted lifts. Use sophisticated climbing and rigging techniques, cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or utilities, or to improve appearance, health, and value of tree. Prune or treat trees or shrubs using handsaws, pole saws, hedge trimmers, hand pruners, clippers, blowers, and power pruner. Clean up tree debris and logs.
Special Requirements
Requires six months of tree trimming experience. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
