Job description
Prepare, cook, bake and season soups, meats, fish, vegetables, desserts, bread, roast and other foods. Carve meats, portion, arrange and garnish food. Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, and stir foods to ensure even cooking. Wash, peel, mix ingredients, read recipes, restock stations, and use various kitchen utensils and equipment. Ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
Anticipated days and hours of work per week: Employer will offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours per week. Open 7-days a week (holidays included). Shifts: 6am to 11am or 4pm to 12-midnight. Shift schedule start and end times and days off vary depending on work demand.
Special Requirements
One year of experience as a cook. Must be able to lift up to 20lbs and stand on feet for 8 hours.
