Job description
Prepare and cook to order a variety of foods requiring a short preparation time. Grill, cook, and fry foods. Grill and garnish steaks, chicken and chops. Perform food preparation tasks, such as making sandwiches, carving meats, and making soups or salads. Cook foods according to customer request. Clean food preparation equipment, work areas, and counters. Plan work on orders so that items served together are finished at the same time. Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers.
Anticipated days and hours of work per week: Employer will offer a minimum of no less than 35 hours per week. Open 7-days a week (holidays included). Shifts: 6am to 1pm; 6:30am to 2pm; 8am to 3:30pm; 3:30pm to 11pm; 2:30pm to 10pm; and 2pm to 9pm. Shift schedule start and end times and days off vary depending on work demand.
Special Requirements
Three months of experience as a cook. All applicants are required to pass a pre-employment background checks. All applicants must pass background checks, including domestic and H-2B visa employees in seasonal or full-time annual positions.
