Farm Laborer

Job description

Workers' duties will include but not limited to: erecting and maintaining hot houses, filling plant boxes with heco, planting plants in plant boxes, filling plant cups with heco, transplanting plants from boxes to cups, watering plants in the hot houses, maintaining temperature in hot houses, assist in cultivating fields, applying fertilizer, laying plastic, drip irrigation, strowing sticks, planting plants in the fields, sticking plants, tying plants, field irrigation duties, field sanitation duties, hand harvesting vegetables, from fields, grade, pack and stack vegetables after harvest, hauling culls, cleaning packing facility, harvesting buckets, crates, bins, etc., and any general farm labor duties that are required on a vegetable farm. Workers may be drug tested post-hire at no cost to the worker to keep in compliance with workers' compensation guidelines. Failure to comply or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All workers must abide by work and safety rules.
