Job description
Taking food/beverage orders, answering questions about the menu, carrying trays of food and drinks from the kitchen to the dining room, serving customers, preparing checks, processing payments, removing dirty dishes and cleaning tables, setting up/cleaning dining areas, refilling condiments and stocking service areas, maintaining contact with kitchen staff, management, and guests to ensure proper handling of dining details, responding to guest comments/complaints/requests, with other related duties as assigned.
Special Requirements
NOTE regarding F.a.5A-H, F.a.6a-6b: A typical work week consists of 35 hours per week, or more (overtime is
possible). With 2 days off (rotating) and varying/multiple shifts available, shifts could start as early as 8:00 a.m. and
end as late as 11:00 p.m. (Note: The total number of 56 hours per week indicated above is misleading, due to the entry of 8 hours for each day of the week into the form, which is necessary because, with shifts typically lasting 8 hours, multiple shifts available, and variations in days off, workers may end up working on any day of the week and there is no specific day(s) when a worker is guaranteed not to work.
