Ground Crew

Job description

Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: mowing, weeding, trimming, raking, clean up of limbs and leaves, shredding of larger tree branches, set up of equipment. Entry level, requires supervision.

All trimming tasks take place at ground level. Workers in the Ground Crew position do not work above the ground. Workers cut/trim/shred tree branches on the ground using basic tools and equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, blowers, and trimmers. Workers set up equipment by load/unload equipment to/from vehicles.

Special Requirements

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
