General Laborer

Job description

Utilize working knowledge of materials, methods and tools used in concrete finishing to pour and finish concrete to customer specifications and Broughton standards. Operate hand trowels, bull floats, edger and jointer to company quality standards. Following direction of Foreman, perform assigned tasks to expectations. Perform various duties as assigned such as shoveling, raking, running wheelbarrow and cleaning. Assist co-workers as necessary.

This position has multiple number of openings.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years in age or older

Pre-employment drug screening required.

Must be willing to work a variable schedule including all shifts, and overtime as needed.

Must lift and carry material, tools and supplies weighing 50 pounds or more regularly.

Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, squat, kneel, crouch and crawl for extended periods of time.

Must be able to balance and walk on wire mesh, rebar, uneven ground and unstable surfaces throughout the day.
