Job description
Division: Safety and Training Dept.
General Statement of Job: Lifeguard Instructor / Safety Lead is responsible for the instruction, leadership, supervision,
control, class material, equipment, administration, and safety of American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR/ First Aid/AED Certification courses.
Provide feedback and appropriate corrections as per Red Cross guidelines and High Sierra's direction.
During on-site lifeguard in-service training, conduct dry land and in-water skills reviews in accordance with American Red Cross and Company policies.
Use corrective feedback to evaluate and correct problems. Track lifeguards' attendance and performance during in-service training and provide reports.
Special Requirements
AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION;
ARC LIFEGUARDING, CPR, FIRST AID, AED, BBP CERTS REQUIRED;
CERTIFIED POOL OPERATOR
VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE (U.S. or International)
18 YEARS OR OLDER;
