Job description

Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurants. Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces, or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week: All workers will work a minimum or no less than 35 hours per week and 5 shifts per week, including holidays. Shifts: 7am to 2pm, and 2pm to 10pm (start times may vary 1 hour either way for the start or end of shifts). Different shifts not listed may be needed based on work demand.

Special Requirements

Six month of experience as a cook. Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays. Must pass pre-employment drug test and background checks.
