Job description

Work with food production/batching. Follow recipes to pull, table, scale, and ready ingredients for food production. Set up, operate, tend equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, and processes ingredients for food manufacturing according to specific formulas and recipes. Measure, pour, combine ingredients, and track production information. Use a mixer to combine and mix ingredients according to recipes. Remove mixed ingredients from a mixer using a large rake-like tool. Box, package, and palletize correctly labeled/tagged products and packages. Maintain, clean, sanitize, and sterilize equipment, work areas, and processing areas. Utilize and monitor inventory levels of all supplies needed.

Special Requirements

Three months of food production and batching experience required. Must lift/carry 60 lbs., when necessary. Frequent/repetitive stand, walk, stoop, and squat in production/warehouse environment. Must also be willing to work first and second shifts 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM, including weekends as necessary. Maximum shifts are 12 hours per day. The actual work schedule for each day of the week is subject to change. Not every employee will work 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week. An employee may work up to 12 hours per day, but may work alternating days or may work a portion of a 12 hour shift. We will offer at least 40 hours in a typical workweek. Hours in excess of 40 will vary depending on staff, production quotas, and other factors to be evaluated on a daily basis. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Compliance with regulations mandated by food safety standards from SQF-Safe Quality Food Standards and GMP-Good Manufacturing Practices is required. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
