Maintenance Worker

Job description

Cleaning interior and exterior of facility in order to achieve a clean and orderly condition for operation. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, washing cooking utensils and dishes, painting and removing rubbish. Duties may include performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk. Gourmet Food Store open 7 days per week. Rotating workdays, shifts and days off. 35 hours per week. Work to occur between 6:00am to 9:00pm. Includes weekends, nights, and holidays.

The 6am to 9pm work schedule reflects the total time frame in which the work will
occur. Start times, end times, and length (approximately 6 hours) of shifts will vary to meet scheduling needs of the business and accommodate scheduling preferences of the employees and will meet the 35 hours per week offered, but will remain within the 6am to 9:00pm timeframe. Overtime may be available if business demands it, but is neither guaranteed nor obligatory and will be at the rate of $28.65 for any hours worked over 40 in the established work week as indicated.
