Workers perform herbicide applications to the woody brush areas within a utility right of way in order to prevent brush overgrowth from affecting electrical wires or access to utility infrastructure. Tasks include: Walking with a 4-gallon backpack sprayer along the woods within a utility right of way for an electrical cooperative or investor owned utilities; Identifying target vegetation requiring herbicide treatment and performing herbicide applications to trees and brush in the brushy right of way areas with a pre-mixed herbicide solution in the backpack sprayer; Assist with pulling the spray hose out and getting it back on the hose reel.

F.a.5 A-H. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (half hour lunch). 10-20 hours of OT may be available.
