Job description
Remove exterior vinyl siding or add new vinyl siding to buildings such as personal residences. Read job plans, instructions machinery, or specifications to determine work activities including where to add or remove materials. Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where siding exterior work will be performed. Use hand tools such as hammers, staple guns, utility knives, and caulking guns. Tend to blowing machines, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment, or to heat or move insulation materials. Lubricate, clean, or repair, equipment, or tools. Some work is performed on ladders and staging. Work on a team to install and repair insulation, gutters, shelving, and vinyl siding as directed. Will need to complete company safety training and use required safety gear as provided by the company. Position involves walking and standing to a significant degree, reaching, handling, climbing (ladder), kneeling, crouching, stooping, talking, hearing, and seeing. Will need to lift up to 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting, carrying and/or transporting of objects or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
