Job description
Performs duties like: Drive and operate farm machinery. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Operate back hoe, fork lift and trucks on the farm. Perform farm maintenance activities. General seasonal farm duties as assigned. Tractor tillage work. Maintain and operate irrigation systems. Tow harvesting equipment. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
