Job description

Workers will be picking blueberries manually according to size, color, ripeness, shape, and/or maturity level, and placing the blueberries into 1-gallon buckets and carrying the buckets to the weigher in the fields. Also, workers may be doing other other duties that may include but not be limited to laying mulch and plastic in the fields, installing and/or repairing irrigation lines in the fields, pruning blueberry plants, weeding, and/or doing field maintenance. Workers must have good hand/eye coordination and be available to work for the entire duration of the contract. Pay rate for picking blueberries will be on a piece rate of $0.50 per pound, with a minimum wage guarantee and an estimated hourly rate of $13.67 per hour; 35 hours per week; must be able to lift up to 60 lbs; All tools will be provided at no cost to the workers.

Special Requirements

Workers must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions, including heat and rain.
