Job description
We farm 3,600 acres in north central Indiana. Our production consists of corn, soybeans, wheat, cover crops and possibly sunflowers and canola. We use no-till, strip-till and cover crops as our production practices. Other parts of our operation include some tillage when needed along with planting, spraying, crop scouting row cultivation, weed mowing, harvesting, hauling, drying and storing grain. We also dry and store our production and then haul the crops at various times of the year. Employees will assist with operating a tractor to work ground, plant, spray, and side dress liquid nitrogen, row cultivation, grain cart operation, running mowing equipment for lawn and side ditch mowing, as well as haul grain. Employees will assist with all aspects of growing these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, sitting, repetitive movements, and frequent stooping. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
