Farmworker/ Irrigator

Job description

Irrigation:
- Assist in drip irrigation duties.
- Roll out and/or roll up drip hose.
- Repair and maintain drip hose and check for leaks and breakage.
- Flush drip irrigation lines.
- Spread drip irrigation lines and tubes.
- Repair irrigation system.
- Rill irrigation, load/unload siphon tubes, damn material take to field set up damns and tubes, head up rows start tubes and move them daily, when done remove all tubes and damns.
- Sprinkler irrigation, clean nozzles, move lines, flush lines, replace sprinklers as needed, repair broken lines, helping get sprinkler system un-stuck, changing/replacing bad parts. May need to use a ladder to preform maintenance.

Special Requirements

2) Worker must possess 3 months of agricultural experience.

4e) Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs.
4f) Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 106 degrees Fahrenheit.
4g) May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools.
4h) May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time.
4i) Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as irrigation.
4j) There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties.
