Job description
Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self propelled equipment much of which is equipped with GPS and used in agricultural production such as tractor, grouser blades, tillage equipment, grain carts, mergers, pay loader, UTV, etc. for duties such as fertilizing, planting, weeding, harvesting, storing, moving to market or storage crops such as hay, soybeans, corn, silage; Adjust and ready farm machinery and equipment; Using augers and shovels to scoop and move crops; Clean work areas; Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies; Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures; Monitor animals for illness, injury, or disease; Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade using brands, tags; Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, or physical condition; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another; Perform duties related to calving.
