Job description

Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies; Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures; Monitor animals for illness, injury, or disease; Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade using brands; Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, or physical condition; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another; Perform duties related to calving and weaning; Clean stalls; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self propelled equipment used in agricultural production much of which is equipped with GPS such as tractor, planter, combine, swather, baler, etc. for duties such as fertilizing, planting, weeding, harvesting, storing, moving to market or storage crops such as hay, soybeans, silage, milo; Adjust and ready farm machinery and equipment; Manual shovel work and hoeing weeds; Load and unload trucks; Maintain farm structures and roads, erect and repair fence, corrals, gates, levees, etc.
