Job description
Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies; Herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures; Monitor animals for illness, injury, or disease; Mark livestock to identify ownership and grade; Segregate animals according to weight, age, color, or physical condition; Move livestock from one location to another, maintain fences; Perform duties related to calving and weaning.
