Job description
Workers on this application will be hand-harvesting corn on farms, which includes manually gathering the ears of corn. Duties will include detasseling corn plants, identifying rogue corn plants, and removing plants with undesirable characteristics from the corn fields. Workers will be expected to walk and weed corn fields using garden hoes to remove unwanted weeds. Worker is responsible for their own rows of corn.
Special Requirements
Must be willing to work on feet in bent, stooped, and crouched positions for long periods of time. Work requires repetitive movements and extensive walking. Must be physically able to do the work required and must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures. Post-employment drug tests are paid for by employer when applicable.
