Job description
Building and maintaining fences, corrals, and equipment, driving livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales, trucks, or other enclosures, cattle breeding such as inspecting the animals for ticks or other parasites, treating any illnesses or injuries that are discovered, administering vaccinations, and performing weaning procedures, assisting with calving to ensure the safe and healthy birth of newborn calves, branding livestock for identification purposes, and hay production, which involves mowing, drying, baling, and storing hay in preparation for winter feed.
Special Requirements
The worker must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Required that employees have or be able to obtain a standard class D driver's license within 30 days of hire.
