Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

We farm 5600 acres of wheat, soybeans, sugar beets. Job duties would be operating farm equipment, hauling commodities from field to storage, fieldwork including tilling, planting, spraying, harvesting and other job duties associated with raising these crops. Maintenance and cleaning of farm equipment and trucks, mowing and yard work. Must be able to learn technology used in equipment. Must have a positive attitude and work well with others. Must have mechanical ability and take pride in their work. Employee would need to be tobacco free since we have a tobacco free workplace policy. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.

Special Requirements

Employer will conduct post-hire drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Employer will conduct post-hire criminal background checks at no cost to the employee and will not employ anyone with a felony/theft criminal background as required by the workplace safety policy and company hiring practices as allowed by law. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular driver's license. Requires 3 months experience.
