Job description
Planting, tending, harvesting, and tillage. Will operate tractors, skid-steer, forklifts, mowers, loaders, semi-tractors and ATVs. Operate, repair, and maintain agricultural structures. Assist in properly loading and transporting outgoing and incoming farm goods. Assist in calving cows and tag calves. Keep calving, treatment and general performance data. Feed and check cow/calves. Maintain and improve lot and pasture fence and crossings. Rotate cattle and paddock grazing. Assist with sorting and treating cattle. Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the farm and farm structures. 3 months farm equipment operation required. Must be able to lift and carry 75lbs for 25yds and work around the strong smell of manure.
