Job description
On farm, perform the following tasks: *As Construction Laborer, perform tasks involving physical labor. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Measure and layout livestock and our poultry buildings. Excavate footings and level the earth to grade specifications. Tie rebar, position aluminum wall forms, and place concrete. Unload materials lay out lumber and steel, tin sheets, trusses, and other components for building livestock confinement and our poultry structures. Build and erect walls and trusses. Lift tin sheets to roof and sheet walls, install doors, and caulk structure. Install and repair feeders, feed tanks and help assemble feed lines. Repair and install curtains and gates. Clean up job sites. *As Roofer, cover roofs of structures with shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, or related materials. May spray roofs, sidings, and walls with material to bind, seal, insulate, structures. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs/75yds. See Addendum to ETA 790 for more detail.
