Job description
Workers will assist in the construction of Grain Bins and foundations for Grain Bins. Job duties include but are not limited to: clearing and leveling ground to prepare for concrete foundation. This will include using hands, shovels, and rakes. Setting metal concrete forms, driving stakes into ground with hammer and setting to grade. Installing fill material to make grade height using shovels and rakes. Install re-bar grids and hand tie cross joints. Pour concrete and screen to grade, and hand finish. Remove stakes from forms, remove forms and load into trailers. Unload Grain Bin materials from trailer and install them onto concrete pad by hand. Install building materials by plan. Clean up trash on site and in vehicles, clean shop, yard, and equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in all weather conditions. Workers will walk, bend, stoop, squat, make repetitive movements and work in extreme temperatures. Workers may wear harnesses to make repairs to or perform work in overhead areas up to 200ft above ground.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
