Cdl Driver / General Farmworker

Job description

We need seasonal labor to assist with livestock feeding using skid steer, clean and load manure from cattle pens. Drive semi-trucks and large trailers to load, transport and haul feeding products and manure to different locations. Workers will only deliver products to areas from which the workers can reasonably return to the worker's residence by the end of the work day. No overnight driving/overnight commuting required.

Workers will perform daily maintenance on fences, buildings, equipment and machinery. Complete record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate to livestock. Daily duties will also include cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. Will operate tractors and equipment to assist in feeding of cattle, relocating feed and manure.

Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English for safety reasons and record keeping.

The employer is not a Farm Labor Contractor.

Special Requirements

Can lift and carry 75 1bs. Must have a CDL or appropriate driver's license or be able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. Minimum of (3) months experience required.
