Job description
Workers will assist with daily duties of a cow-calf operation by vaccinating, castrating, branding, feeding, weighing, recording information and other tasks as necessary. Workers will use ATVs, horses, and or trucks to check fence lines for evidence of predators or hazards and make repairs to holes/fences. Workers may also perform other farm labor duties such as operating/services tractors, plows, bush hogs and other farm equipment/implements to plow, harrow, cultivate, plant, harvest and transport hay. Workers may service farm vehicles, maintain farm grounds, buildings and fences.
Workers must have a minimum of 3 months verifiable work experience working in a cow-calf operation and driving 100 hp. tractors or larger.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity.
