Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Run tractor and grain carts. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General building/shop maintenance. May need to perform Grain bin repairs. Cleaning and power washing equipment, buildings and grain bins as needed. May need to drive pick-up trucks to move seed or fertilizer to field.

Crops: Corn, Milo, Soy Beans, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
