Job description

On farm, perform the following activities: As Truck and Tractor Operator, operate forklifts and scissor lifts to move materials around construction site. As Roofer, cover roofs of structures with shingles, slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, or related materials. Insulate or soundproof sections of structures. As Helper, Carpenter, assist carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. As Construction Laborer, perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Measure and layout livestock and or poultry building. Unload materials lay out lumber, tin sheets, trusses, and other components for building livestock confinement structures and or poultry buildings. Build and erect walls and trusses. Lift tin sheets to roof and sheet walls, Clean up job sites. Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs/75yds. Certification to operate scissor lift or forklift required.
