Job description
The carpenter helper will assist carpenters by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools such as hammers, shovels, electric drills, tape measures, chalk lines, squares, levels, clamps, and manual and electric saws. Carpenter helper will assist carpenters to construct and repair structures made of wood, such as concrete forms. Carpenter helper will assist in joining together lumber with screws, nails, or glue. Carpenter helper will assist in skating forms at worksites. Clean tools, equipment, and work area, as needed.
Special Requirements
- Must have 3 months of carpentry or related experience
- Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs for 75 yds.
- Employer will require drug tests upon reasonable suspicion. Drug tests will be paid for by employer.
